At Smawthorne Henry Moore, we believe that it’s important to build on the communication between school and parents. We aim to keep parents up to date with everything that is going on in school, as well as showing off the achievements which children have made. We currently have our school Twitter account, which is used to update parents about what is going on, as well as show images of recent trips or visitors. We have introduced Twitter Takeover, where each week a different year group in school takes over the school's Twitter account to share what they have been up to. During the week, the two classes for the year group along with the class teachers will add photos and tweets about work, achievements and any events which have happened. The children in each class will play a part in the update of Twitter, as we believe this will teach children who use the internet and social media sites in a safe and effective way.
