Welcome to 5A  My name is Mrs Atack and I have worked at the school for 19 years now, and I will be teaching in Year 5 again this year.  I am looking forward to  watching each individual grow and prepare for their journey into Year 6. Year 5 is a very important year, but we have many things to look forward to from a range of exciting stimuli to several educational visits.

In our Topic this term we will cover The Anglo Saxons, looking at the history behind these people including a range of archaeological activities linked to the unit of work. In Science we are starting with Living Things and Their Habitat, where will we learn all about different life cycles, comparing the cycle of a mammal, insect and animal. 

This year will be a great opportunity for the children to develop a range of skills and work together as a team, and I am really looking forward to the year ahead !
